Specification Guide for Facebook and Instagram Ads


Did you advertise on Facebook or Instagram Ads? If you are not new to paid media, you will know that the Facebook Ads Business Manager tool offers many advertising formats and each with specific size specifications… A madness!

To make it easier for you, I would like to share this with you guide with specifications of FB ads and Instagram Ads. There you will find the general requirements for FB and Instagram and the specific requirements for each ad format optimized for its location.

In general, the tool accepts images or videos in almost any format, but you should be aware that the image may be displayed cropped or with text overlaid (for example, 1: 1 images in story format). If you want to improve your CPM, CPC, CPI, CPL …, it is essential that you generate Ads with optimized formats for each location.
