I’ve been thinking about some sort of collectibles mutual fund for years. It would be a kind of Housers but with a better return….
Since I spoke about it lego investment fund a few months have passed again. I’ll tell you about the steps we’ve taken to turn the idea into reality.
Implementation of our new ERP
We don’t have a lot of experience managing our own ERP. We chose Holded because at first glance it seemed like the best option in terms of value for money. Like any start-up, they have difficulty growing. We are having trouble setting up our account properly and support has not yet been up to par to serve us well. I hope that will change in the coming weeks.
We have the process defined. Now all we want is for this to be reflected in the data through the app. In this way, we will be able to have profitability data by product and attribute it to different investors. This avoids having to do tedious calculations with Excel to make an investor’s profit. It is the basis of everything else. I’ll keep the details for you, but it’s a very slow process and I hope until the end of May we’re done.

I like the idea of the investment fund, but I’m not so clear on the investor part. At the end of the day, I can decide that only my brothers (who are the first investors), workers and friends are going to be able to invest or at least in the beginning. It’s too good a thing to make available to people I don’t know at all. It’s as usual with clients, but what I said: luckily I’m not in a situation where a lot depends on how this project works.
If it’s finally open to everyone, it should fit in a new umbrella. He’ll have his own website and everything. I see a lot of potential but you have to do things step by step and without haste. As long as third-party money is managed, you have to be 100% prepared for it. This is not the case today. That is why, at this time, all investment offers for third parties that I receive are refused. It is not yet the time but it will come …
